Tab Windows is a extension that changes the normal window's title bar to a small tab, like a file folder. The windows were written with small monitors in mind. They use a minimum of screen real-estate. Tab windows also uses the color tinge you set in the Color control panel. Tab Windows also looks great on PowerBooks with 4bit gray displays.
INSTALLATION
To install Tab Windows, simply drag Tab Windows to your System folder and restart your computer.
HINTS
If you want temporarily disable the Tab Windows, hold down the caps-lock key while opening the window.
BUGS
While in the Finder, holding down the command key and clicking in the middle of the title bar normally pops up a menu, but there is not usually a place to click while Tab Windows is running. Use command-up arrow insead. When old versions of WindowShade shrink the window, there is a "tail" on the bottom of the title bar. The WindowShade shipped with System 7.5.3 works well for me. Tab Windows is incompatible with Microphone Pro because of a bug in Microphone. Hold down the caps-lock key while launching Microphone. Tab Windows is also incompatible with First Class client.

Tab Windows is Shareware. You may freely distribute it as long as you don’t charge for it. Upload it everywhere!
